She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree (biology and Spanish) in 2016 at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, and a Medical Doctorate in 2021 at LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport. She also completed a residency and internship in pediatrics at LSU in 2024 and a fellowship in allergy and immunology there in 2026.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and sons and their black Labrador. They also enjoy traveling and taking part in church activities.
